LNNCHS is a school system where teachers and principal achieve desired learning outcomes not only because they are empowered, competent and accountable, but because they care; where the principal with her staff ensure adequate resources and promote the use of technology to enhance learning; and where the family, the community and other institutions actively support its effort.

 

LNNCHS legally stands out on 78,981 square meters or 7,893 hectares land situated along the national highway of   Baroy, Lanao del Norte, the clay town of Kapatagan Valley and the rice granary of the province of Lanao del Norte .  

        History tells that the Lanao del Norte National Comprehensive High School was given birth in nineteen hundred and forty five. This was the aftermath of World War II when there was a pressing demand to rehabilitate, to gather together the pieces of the shattered dreams of the people of Lanao. The people’s felt need, then, was education, thus the school was established with the name Lanao West High School.

          On July 4, 1059, under Republic Act 228.  The school acquired another name, the Lanao Del Norte Provincial High School.

           From its humble beginning, the school raised to an arresting height in becoming the Lanao del Norte National Comprehensive High School in 1971, envisioning and carrying out the programs of development through quality and better education in this part of the region. It is the name that brings great promise to the people of Lanao del Norte.

         The school with its lofty objectives and shared vision puts form and substance to the cherished dreams and aspirations of the youth, despite of the adversities of life.
